A ski holiday to discover Pacentro

Pacentro, a beautiful village in the Majella National Park included in the club of "The most beautiful villages in Italy", is an old fortified town built on a hill overlooking the entire Valle Peligna.

The wonderful historical center is characterized by the high towers of the imposing castle Caldora-Cantelmo (11th-13th century) and it is enriched by the presence of several fine monuments. Passo San Leonardo allows you to enjoy a holiday full of sports and nature both in summer and winter. Located in the heart of the Majella National Park, in a fairytale landscape, you can ski through forests of birch and eucalyptus. From here you can go hiking on Mount Morrone and Mount Amaro. In the ski resort there is an area for snowboard, while in the surroundings there are lots of natural rocks for lovers of climbing.

Campo di Giove is also part of the ski offer of Western Majella together with Passo San Leonardo.
