Acerbo Museum - Loreto Aprutino (PE)
The Acerbo Museum houses the most beautiful and rich collection of ceramics of Castelli, the fruit of the passion of Baron Giacomo Acerbo. In 1957, he gathered in an annex of his palace the best of the production of some famous dynasties of potters of castles such as the Grue and the Gentile lived between 1600 and 700. The collection consists of a total of 569 pieces, including vases, plates, tiles, cups and figurines, and is displayed in the special rooms in a rational manner, reflecting all the disposition that had been assigned in the past by the architect Leonardo Laladini. In summer (June -15 September) the museum is open every day from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. In winter (September 16-May 31) open only Saturday and Sunday from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.
