Campo Felice is one of the most famous ski resorts in Central Italy, easily accessible in less than an hour from the capital through the A/24 to L'Aquila-Teramo (exit Tornimparte and link with the base of the lifts). The winter resort is located on the slopes of the Velino massif south of the Abruzzo capital. The development of plant engineering for the numerous and diversified slopes (about 20), for a total of 40 km, is remarkable: 8 chair lifts (five four-seater), two ski lifts and two hand lifts. The lifts start at 1400 metres and reach a maximum altitude of 2064 metres. Thanks to the unique ski-pass, it is now possible to ski with a single ski-pass in the Ovindoli - Monte Magnola ski area as well. Campo Felice is one of the few ski resorts in Central Italy, which allows the connection of two mountain slopes with skis at your feet: the slope of Campo Felice with the Plateau of Rocche, where there are several accommodation facilities in Rocca di Cambio, Rocca di Mezzo and Rovere. The cross-country skier will find at his disposal the slopes that wind through the plateau as the tour of Monte Puzzillo and various hiking routes. Campo Felice offers a wide range of recreational activities on the snow, starting from snow tubing 90 meters long, the exciting snow park of 800 meters, as well as the recreational area Fun Park.
