Caves and waterfalls

Originating from springs and rivers that populate the land of Abruzzo, the numerous waterfalls are known for being among the tallest in the Apennines, with drops of even hundreds of meters. Waterfalls and small cascades have always been surrounded by the green Apennine peaks, from the Laga to the Maiella, where equally fascinating are the cavities and caves carved into the rock that historically provided refuge for hermits and brigands of Abruzzo.
