Ski Areas

A fantastic world at high altitude in the heart of Italy and the Mediterranean. Abruzzo hosts the major ski areas of the Apennines, from the best known of Roccaraso, Rivisondoli, Campo Felice and Ovindoli, passing through the legendary station of the Gran Sasso di Campo Imperatore, up to Pescasseroli, Passolanciano, Majelletta, Campo di Jupiter and Prati di Tivo. The availability of over 700 kilometers of slopes offers snow enthusiasts plenty of opportunities for recreation. The high relief areas are perfect for alpine skiing, with circuits designed for the more experienced and routes more suitable for beginners and children, while the vast highlands become the ideal places for cross-country skiing, with a wide choice of beaten rings and itineraries.
