Museum of Labor Traditions and Popular Religiosity - Villalago (AQ)

The Museum is located in the heart of the historic center, inside a tower from whose terrace you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Sagittarius Valley and Lake San Domenico. The Museum preserves a collection of objects of peasant art. In the premises of the old Town Hall there is also a "Centre of documentation on the traditions of the work of Villalago". Inside the Museum, in addition to the projection of images of the environment and the protagonists of local daily life, there are references to ancient crafts such as the miller and the fisherman, with the exhibition of models: the Mill and the Gualchiera, skillfully reproduced to scale by the miller Domenico Grossi, and the traditional cloth used to make the wool typical male dress used in Villalago and Scanno.
