"Rain in the pinewood" also in Arabic

'Rain in the pinewood', one of D'Annunzio's most famous poems in which the more or less fast rhythmic movement, similar to that of rain, creates a magical atmosphere in which the feelings of love and passions merge with the sounds and peace that inspires nature, has also been published in Arabic.

After having anticipated its reading at the recent international conference "D'Annunzio in the Arab world", which was held at the University of Misr for Science and Technology, "La pioggia nel pineto" is now proposed by the prestigious quarterly magazine of Cairo Ibdaa (Creation), organ of the Egyptian National Book Organization, which collects the most representative voices of contemporary Egyptian literature and of the Arab world, whose new issue is now being distributed. The initiative was curated by the Study Center on D'Annunzio of Pescara chaired by Edoardo Tiboni and the Italian Cultural Institute of Cairo, directed by Dante Marianacci, and the translation for the first time in Arabic is by Naglaa Waly.
