Dove si trova: Alba Adriatica (TE) sorge sul litorale adriatico, a pochi chilometri dal confine con le Marche. E' raggiungibile con l'autostrada A14, in prossimità dell'uscita al casello Val Vibrata.
The trabocco takes its name from the dialectal appellation of the stretch of sea on which it is located: it was built in 1938 by Bernardo, Orlandino, Luigi, Domenico and Tommaso Verì (nicknamed "De scirocche") by will of Luigi Ialacci (known as "Tira-tira”) who fished there with his son Umberto until 1955. Later the structure was sold to Frasca Antonio and Bozzelli Umberto (known as “Murè”)..
After a few years, the disuse and the continuous sea storms destroyed the Trabocco. In the nineties, the remains were sold to Nicola Natarelli (known as "Lu Cece"). Unfortunately, this latter did not restore it, making it disappear completely. In 2006, Luca Conti and the brothers Luca and Mirko Di Nanno took over the state concession and provided for the complete reconstruction of the structure thanks to the help of Antonio Verì, Mauro D’Antonio and Maurizio Cutini. In 2012, the structure was expanded: maintaining the original functionality unchanged, it is now used for small catering activities, too.
